Where artists can come to be relaxed. Where they can feel free from outside pressures, and where the clock is not running, so that the emphasis is on the writing, the arrangements, the performance and the recording. ThunderCreek was built for this purpose. When an artist is in residence for their project, all setups are undisturbed. As creative ideas form we are able to execute them immediately.

What Makes A Great Artist?

Great Songwriting, with Great Hooks, and Great Performances, along with Incredible Stage Presence, filled with Raw Energy that grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. In order for this to translate to recordings, our role is to create an atmosphere where Vitality and Energy are channeled into Creativity with Reckless Abandoned, and to help artists find and showcase their strengths; by choosing the correct material and refining the arrangements so that the melodic structure and the musical transitions all work for the betterment of the Recording.

“Truth In Music”

The only way to accomplish this is to understand what I call Truth in Music. That is to Be True to Yourself. Don’t make a conscious effort to change your music into something you think others will like or want. That doesn’t mean we won,t be agonizing over every detail. That’s just being passionate about what you do. What it does mean is doing what makes you feel good, or bad for that matter. To provoke an emotion or a feeling. That’s what Music is! And in the process, if it makes you feel, its gonna make someone else feel.

That is the only way I know to make records.
